Privacy Policy

Innata ("we", "us") is a natural-beauty companion app. We respect your privacy and built Innata to collect as little as possible. This policy explains what we process and why.

Information we process

• Photos (selfies) — When you request an analysis, your photo is sent securely to our AI processing providers to generate your beauty analysis and "future you" image, then discarded. We do not keep your photos on our servers and we do not use them to identify you.
• Profile you enter — Your first name, age range and beauty preferences are stored locally on your device to personalize your plan. They are sent to the AI provider only as context to tailor your results.
• Your results & progress — Your scans, scores and history are stored locally on your device so you can track progress over time.
• Subscription status — If you subscribe, our payments partner processes your purchase and tells the app whether your subscription is active. We never see your card details.
• Basic diagnostics — Standard, non-identifying technical logs to keep the app working.

Face data

When you choose to request an analysis, the only face data Innata processes is the selfie photograph you voluntarily submit, and a transient, non-identifying analysis of facial features (such as skin appearance and proportions) derived from that photo for the single purpose of generating your result. Innata does not create or store a facial-recognition template or "faceprint," does not use the TrueDepth API or Face ID, and does not use face data to identify or recognize you.

• What we collect: the selfie image you submit, and the transient facial-feature analysis derived from it to produce your beauty analysis and AI "future you" image.
• How it is used: solely to generate the cosmetic/beauty analysis and AI image you request, and to tailor coaching to your stated goals. It is never used for advertising, identification, profiling, or any other purpose.
• Sharing & storage: the selfie is transmitted only after you give explicit in-app consent to our AI processing providers, OpenAI and Google (Gemini), which process it transiently in memory to return your result. It is not stored on our servers; the generated results are stored only on your device.
• Retention: your selfie and face data are not retained by us or by our AI providers after the request is completed — the providers do not retain it after the request and do not use it to train their models. The on-device results remain only until you delete them or uninstall the app.

Service providers

We use trusted providers strictly to deliver the app's features:

• OpenAI and Google (Gemini AI) — your selfie, the profile details you enter, and the messages you send in the in-app AI chat are sent to these third-party AI providers only after you give explicit in-app consent, solely to read your facial features, generate your analysis and "future you" image, and produce your coaching replies. They process this data transiently on our behalf under their API terms; they do not use it to train their models, do not retain it after the request, and are required to provide an equivalent level of data protection.
• RevenueCat & Apple — to manage and process subscriptions.
• Amazon Associates — product links in the app are affiliate links. As an Amazon Associate, Innata earns from qualifying purchases. Your shopping happens on Amazon under Amazon's own privacy policy.

How we use information

• To generate your personalized beauty analysis, recommendations and images.
• To save your progress on your device.
• To provide and manage subscriptions.
• To maintain, secure and improve the app.

What we do not do

• We do not sell or rent your personal information.
• We do not store your selfies on our servers.
• We do not use your photos for facial recognition or identification.
• We do not run advertising networks inside the app.

Your choices

Because your profile, results and history are stored on your device, you can clear them at any time by resetting the app or deleting it. To manage or cancel a subscription, use your Apple ID settings.

Children

Innata is intended for adults (18+). It is not directed to children and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.

Changes

We may update this policy as the app evolves. We'll post the new version here with an updated date.
